Thursday - 31/07/08

Food safety class was hilarious!! we were discussing about bacteria ,its symptoms and how it affects us.. We were discussing about this particular bacteria.. its nasty and i didnt knoe much about it till awhile ago >.< Listeria Monocytogenes
This bacteria causes severe effects to pregnant women. It causes miscarriages or it can be passed from the carrier (mother) to child.. If passed to child, the child would be serverly disfigured or even mentally challenged.. Listeria is found in foods like milk products (it can survive pasteurisation) , soft cheeses, meat and pate. It is VERY dangerous for pregnant women to eat rare meat(DAMN.. sushimi >.<), smoked meat(smoked salmon SHOOTS!) and leftover foods!!!!!

On the note of child disfiguration, we were talking about how alcohol also affects the child's appearance when the mother drinks. My lect was saying that even if the pregnant mother wants to drink, the father of the child cannot stop her.. because it is her decision.. and my class guys went... "BULL!!!" U can always take the drinks away frm her and gulp it all down.. but how much can u prevent a women from drinking? u would be all smashed at the end of the night =X The guys in my class are very sensitive on the issue of women drinking while being pregnant LOL!...

A Typical Day in School

Wednesday - 30/07/08

I managed to PULL through wine lecture.. woke up slightly late and managed to get my butt into the shower.. Wine lecture was such a bore!! Irusa went through the whole bloody lecture w/o giving up any breaks in between!!!! I was like.. an hour and a half of yak yak yak and i was nearly falling off my seat.. Its so B-O-R-I-N-G!!..

After wine lecture, i managed to walk to the cafe.. (with the help of suying and soph) and got an ice coffee.. DOUBLE SHOT!!! that should keep me awake during Business Law...(I HOPE)

So anyway, During the week.. we had some wacky talks..(Ivan, me and soph) and Ivan ended up cursing at me..(i cant remember wad i said =x)





And during Business Communications lesson, I was mucking around with Derek i came up with an easier way to summarize the Executive Summary.. =x

Assignments are all over the place.. due dates are nearing... and I'm kinda screwing myself.. I CALLED COCO THIS MORNING TO PRANK HIM!!! and i called him back when he msged me.. can u imagine this asshole could actually tell me on msn that he is dead drunk? which asshole can do that when u're drunk? that asshole apparently could!!

And... he is making me jealous about his timetable..telling me about the few lessons he had per week..AND I HAVE 5 DAYS AND only 2 days a week for myself... >.< I HATE YOU COCO!!!! HMPH~

Ive got news about Makana.(read my first entry).. Makana's gonna tell her baby that she father is dead...

So anyway, I BROKE MY PROMISE!!! The S'porens in my year were short of 1 player for mahjong.. ended up.. i played >.< and i WON!!! omg..nw i keep thinking of mahjong mahjong.. shldnt have touched it..Sly the 3rd yr sporean sae i look so "guai" but im actually havoc... >.< SO SAD LARHX

Im so bored.. just finished doing my KO's homework.. haven got started on IT and i dun wanna do it T.T gonna start somewhere!! its pretty late.post another time

Missing frm Class

17/07/08 - Thursday

I skipped my first class this sem LOL.. missed IT class.. i was so darn tired that i couldnt pull myself out of bed!! even when Soph knocked on the door!.. i couldnt even get up to open! i just asked her to come in lolx...I woke up at 11am and got ready for wine class... I am such a good girl this Sem.. Last sem i just skipped the whole day of class.. but this sem i just missed 1 class!! i woke up to go for Wine and Accounting.. im considered a fairly good girl in my books =) promised myself i'll give up drinking, clubbing and gambling... IVAN U'RE SO NOT MAKING ME BREAK MY PROMISES! no jim beam! no mahjong! no red square! No no no! dun tempt me pls =( New sem new vanessa ! *I hope* So anyway, im going to be a good girl =) Short hair, new glasses, new resolutions.. and im almost late for Accounts now..

OMG!! I have been going to school for 2 days now.. So far, the lecturers were... B-O-R-I-N-G!! except this new lect named CC and "Great Grandpa Derrick"!! They are so in need of a weekend off. HOPEFULLY, this friday at PJ O'Brien that they come and LET LOOSE... they're too uptight... I was nodding off in Sales and Marketing class... T.T can u imagine? ONE AND A HALF HOURS LISTENING TO HIM TALKIN W/O ANY BREAK?!?!?!?! i almost hanged myself!! So anyway, its like 5.41PM and i nid to go get myself some FOOD... DINNER TIME =)

Miserable Sunday

Its a miserable Sunday! i got up only at 1.00PM~ i was so bloody tired the day before.. This afternoon got up and walked to the Viet supermaket near campus and bought some food.. It was super windy and coldddd >.< making it super miserable.. and considering the fact that i have SCHOOL TMR! i dunno wad time.. and wad class im having tmr morning T.T so sad.. nid to go find out tonite.. so.. I realli dun have anything else to do.. i tink i'll just go to Soph's room and talk.. bbies~

I was inside Changi's T3 finding my boarding gate.. I saw my Korean 1st yr classmate (Jay).. he's not exactly Korean.. he's Korean/Taiwanese.. he's KoTai? =x so anyway, there is ONLY ONE flight to Adelaide..so Jay and i walked to the boarding gate and started to fill in on each other about the past 6 months.. hw much hell we've been through.. this and tat.. and GUESS WAD? we saw TOMMY.. this Norwegien guy that stayed in Spore for 7 yrs studying in MY CLASS for the 1st yr.. Jay and I were like.. "LET'S HIDE SOMEWHERE SO HE DOSENT SEE US" (Tommy likes to think the whole world LOVES him) but too late.. Tommy came up to us..*damn*.. lucky we saw LOADS of other people from our school.. there was AT LEAST 10 of us travelling on the same flight. [ON BOARD THE PLANE] Beside me was an empty seat and next to it was a guy. I asked him if it was alright if i asked my fren(Sophia) to sit at the empty seat between us. He said it was fine with him so Sophia came to seat with me.. she filled me in on the "happenings" in school!!! I was so shocked at one news that i was practically SCREAMING on the plane..*here goes* Tommy had a relationship with a Japanese girl(Makana) in school during our first year..They always have "fights" in their room and apparently, Makana found out she was pregnant before internship!! SHE IS ABOUT TO GIVE BIRTH within the next month~!! The other thing was... Tommy is with another girl in Spore.. I saw him and her abt 2 days when i arrived back frm Australia.. Apparently, Tommy wants nothing to do with Makana and her baby.. WHAT A BASTARD! Poor Makana.. for falling for someone like Tommy... the rest of the flight.. The guy, Sophia and me talked.. The guy is frm M'sia..coming to Adelaide for the first time.. studying in Uni SA.. (He had some problems at the custom, lucky Soph and i was there to help, or he might be in Jail LOL)

[Landed in Adelaide on 12/07/08 morning]

We managed to do some shopping for the unit.. like basic necessity soap,washing powder etc.. unpacked our luggage and went to pick up our books.. CAN U IMAGINE WE SPENT A TOTAL OF A$65 ON CAB FARE FOR THE COLLECTION OF BOOKS?? I was so tired at the end of the day.. I just wanted to go to bed and sleep for the REST OF MY LIFE! =x
