Thursday - 14/08/08

Past few days went by really quickly, we had the same routine. Wake up, bathe, go to class, come home, do assignments and go sleep. =( It feels like my life is predicted!

Something AMAZING happened, Joshua came by to my room and brought me some anime to watch and he started going over to my shelf and started fiddling with my stuff.. Guess what was he doing? He was packing my room!! LOL!! I even took pictures of him w/o him noticing.. I took a picture of him while he arranged my shoes >.<..

I also took some pictures during our Business Communications lecture.. we were all supposed to be doing our assignments.. I was a good girl and did part of it =)

FINALLY!

Tuesday - 12/08/08

FINALLY!!! Wine and People Management assignments are out of my way.. i've got more time to myself for a few days and i need to rush through my ITD Report..(damn) ITD report 2nd draft is due next tuesday and i have got nothing!! no structure, nothing!! These few days were pretty weird for me.. Many Ups and Downs.. Saturday was one hell of a day.. I went out with my Last Yr's Group.. THE BEST GROUP EVER!! Group 30D.. There was about 5 people missing (we didnt want tommy to come and the rest of them arent coming back this semester) We went to The Lion on Melbourne St. and had some PDD (Pre-dinner Drinks) and then headed to a Mexican restaurant nearby. We then headed down to Hindley St. for somemore drinking and dancing.. (I SWEAR that when u're in the hospitality line, u learn to drink ALOT!) Jennifer was pretty smashed after dinner and she felt like vomitting.. Thank God most of us werent smashed!
We had pretty much a hell of a time.. Felt good coming back together.. Anyways, whatever happen in 30D stays in 30D (i cant spill ^_^ )

The bad news on sat was that my darling managed to crawl home some way or another dead drunk! and u guessed it! i was pissed and as u know, he got a hell of a scolding from me.. *i was being very lenient!* The other bad news was that i had Wine and People management assignment due today and i didnt get started until Sunday LOL! BUT! i managed to finish so.. WHOO HOO!~

Wow! Its the 7th of Aug!! Time seems to fly when you're in ICHM =( I just received my Mid-Sem Timetable and my first exam is on the 8th Sept! Damn, i thought we just got started here!! and exams are so soon! You have to be really mad to be able to survive in here.. many assigments were due the 2nd week we started school and more coming up at the end of this week. Well, this week didnt have any happenings except for the field trip we had to a food lab and saw all the bacteria that are present in food..disgusting... we also celebrated Charlotte's birthday at Graduates and i've got a picture of my main course!! Kangaroo (cooked rare..just the way i like it ^^) with Cous Cous and during the week, i took a random snapshot of Soph walking at the Swamp... Its about 5pm.. dark isnt it =) well then, enjoy!

So anyway, during Kitchen Ops we had John instead of Andrew.. Didnt knoe where the F* he went... threw us alone with John for the day.. my partner was JP AGAIN!! omg.. do u have any idea how PISSED sophie is with me? and now JP is my partner.. Hell, thanks! >.< (For those who dunno JP and Sophie..Sophie is MADLY in love with JP and JP is very friendly.. So, over the past few days.. JP was saying to Sophie "Do you know Vanessa is like a lil' sister to me? She's like a sister from another mother!" and he asks me for a hug.. Sophie then goes "Am i like your sister from another mother as well then, JP?" he replied.."No...." OMG YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN SOPHIE'S FACE!!! and her stare.. omg..ICY COLD!

What happened today was... JP and i were partners and Sophie's bench was infront of us.. JP was commenting how perfect we worked together.. and Sophie's face turned BLACK! that wasnt it! JP then said he loves Mint leaves and he started eating it.. He then shoved some into my mouth (I was chopping tomatoes) and asked me to feed him a piece of tomato.. and the BEST PART, in the middle of the lesson.. JP shouted to Sophie, "SOPHIE!Do you EVER know what to do?" At that moment, YOU CAN SEE THE FUMES COMING FROM HER HEAD!!! >.<

Thought For the Day : NEVER MAKE A WOMAN JEALOUS! >.<

Wacked out week!!

Saturday - 2/08/08

This week was so LAZY!!! Soph, Su-ying and i went to Rundle for some shopping when CC was sick and class was cancelled. We saw fights happening at Rundle LOL... Asians VS Aussie.. cops were called in and the fight was stopped(Dang!) >.<

During the week, we had REALLY boring classes!! I was so bored i started to draw in my notebook =)

We had our Course Commencement Ceremony (CCC) Yesterday night and during the day, we had classes.. I had Accounting, HSRM and IT2! Check out my class status during the class =) We're SO 'ENERGETIC!" Everyone was looking forward to CCC and didnt have any mood to study!! oh btw, I gotten myself a Certificate of Merit for my Tourism (i attained full marks) and had to go on stage for the cert =.=! so embarassing..

Thursday - 31/07/08

Food safety class was hilarious!! we were discussing about bacteria ,its symptoms and how it affects us.. We were discussing about this particular bacteria.. its nasty and i didnt knoe much about it till awhile ago >.< Listeria Monocytogenes
This bacteria causes severe effects to pregnant women. It causes miscarriages or it can be passed from the carrier (mother) to child.. If passed to child, the child would be serverly disfigured or even mentally challenged.. Listeria is found in foods like milk products (it can survive pasteurisation) , soft cheeses, meat and pate. It is VERY dangerous for pregnant women to eat rare meat(DAMN.. sushimi >.<), smoked meat(smoked salmon SHOOTS!) and leftover foods!!!!!

On the note of child disfiguration, we were talking about how alcohol also affects the child's appearance when the mother drinks. My lect was saying that even if the pregnant mother wants to drink, the father of the child cannot stop her.. because it is her decision.. and my class guys went... "BULL!!!" U can always take the drinks away frm her and gulp it all down.. but how much can u prevent a women from drinking? u would be all smashed at the end of the night =X The guys in my class are very sensitive on the issue of women drinking while being pregnant LOL!...

A Typical Day in School

Wednesday - 30/07/08

I managed to PULL through wine lecture.. woke up slightly late and managed to get my butt into the shower.. Wine lecture was such a bore!! Irusa went through the whole bloody lecture w/o giving up any breaks in between!!!! I was like.. an hour and a half of yak yak yak and i was nearly falling off my seat.. Its so B-O-R-I-N-G!!..

After wine lecture, i managed to walk to the cafe.. (with the help of suying and soph) and got an ice coffee.. DOUBLE SHOT!!! that should keep me awake during Business Law...(I HOPE)

So anyway, During the week.. we had some wacky talks..(Ivan, me and soph) and Ivan ended up cursing at me..(i cant remember wad i said =x)





And during Business Communications lesson, I was mucking around with Derek i came up with an easier way to summarize the Executive Summary.. =x
